Gestern Abend wurde die 2. BETA von sc_trans 2.0 veröffentlicht.
Die Version ist weiterhin für Windows und Linux gedacht, eine Unterstützung für MacOSx oder FreeBSD folgt erst später. Dieses Mal ist auch eine Beispiel Config dabei, die es euch leichter machen soll. Ich denke, das hat bei der ersten Version einige gestört und verunsichert.
Es wurden einige Bugs gefixed und es kamen auch ein paar neue Optionen dazu. Was das genau ist, könnt ihr dem unteren Zitat entnehmen.

Bug Fixes:
1) Bad mime types were causing the “public” config flag to be ineffective
2) outprotocol did not default to shoutcast. If missing, sc_trans did nothing at all.
3) audio glitches when an aac+ dj disconnects
4) titles replayed from DJs should now appear correctly
5) Problems with priority playlists under windows fixed.
6) Output queue management was broken if connected to more than one server
7) DJ disconnect problem under Linux fixed.New config options:

is it possible to use a live source, i mean use a live station as source and transcode the audio to another format as the original SC_TRANS? i have tried adding the url on the playlist, but it looks like is not the correct way.

Ich hätte gerne mal gewusst, ob die Version nur bei der 1.9 Beta funktioniert oder auch bei der derzeit Stabilen Version 1.98
Da mir das ja im unteren Thema niemand beantwortet hat, frage ich eben hier nochmal nach

Soweit ich weiss geht das schon, nur die ganzen neueren Features halt erst ab SHOUTcast 2.0 dann.

Also habe das Teil auf ner Linux Kiste getestet und scheint gut zu laufen auch mit den aac+ streams. Einzigste was ich nicht verstehen will, das die Eingaben im dsp_plugin nicht übernommen werden wenn man auf sc_trans als Mod Connectet. da stehen weiterhin die angaben die in der sc_trans.conf stehen. Das sollte noch überarbeitet werden.

An wenn kann man Bugs etc. senden?
Unsere ServerConfig: Debian 4, 2Ghz Intel Celeron, 1GB Ram, 2 x Shoutcast 1.9.9b
Ich hab 2 x SC Trans 2 Beta 2 laufen im aacp Modus.
Folgendes ist mir aufgefallen:
- Bei Live Shows,sobald sich der DJ einloggt, 80% CPU Last egal ob er in MP3 oder AAC+ sendet
- Wenn ein DJ sich einloggt (128/MP3 Lame encoder)mit zb. SAM2 oder VirtualDJ erscheint im log “msg:[decode] calling aacPlusStreamDecode() The aacPlus decoder did not find a valid frame.” und man hört nichts, die Metatags werden aber übertragen

Kurzer Nachtrag:
Wenn der DJ der SAM2/Virtual DJ benutzt, sich kurz vorher mit zb. Winamp(SC Plugin)/Eddcast/SAM4 einloggt und kurz was sendet gehts, also danach kommt er mit SAM2 und VDJ auf den Stream ohne Probs !
